Australia!

On thursday: Went to school, went home at 5. boarded the bus to the airport at 6 and flew off into the sunset in the brand new A380. About 7 hours of Feeding Frenzy, Zuma Deluxe, Hitman and Rush Hour 3 later, I find myself in Sydney, Australia!

The weather's really nice here at the moment, its like walking around in an air-conditioned mall, or like walking around outside in Singapore right after rain, just that it's not so humid. In fact, it's really dry and i keep needing to apply moisturiser to my skin or i'll just shrivel up and die.

My mum and dad dropped me off at my sister's place (who is currently in uni) and went off to settle other business. It's a pretty cool place, 2 level house, shared by 6 people, and her room is pretty nicely decorated with posters of crazy jap. bands and drawings of her pet budgie.

Then i got to meet 2 of her friends, very nice people, Aussies really have a nice sense of humour, very much different from that of singaporeans. I joined them for lunch and a tour around UNSW and had a great time. it's nice to hear some proper english being spoken.

Oh, and the air here is really CLEAN. Devoid of weird and unpleasant odours and smells, except when we walked past this house which smelled of fart. Other than that, Australia is really a nice place to live in, if you can cope with the silee at night.
