4th day

Looks like Blogger doesn't like australia. Pictures still can't be uploaded.

Ah well, let's talk about food then. I had Laksa at UNSW today. Of all the many types of food available, I chose laksa, and apparently i made the right one. The bowl that i got contains about 3 times the stuff than that in Singapore, and it's pretty evil-looking. No, it's the creation of the devil. One mouthful of it made me start crying and my nose started running and i started sweating after a few more. There were dumplings in it as well, but the whole thing cost 7 dollars? Worth it? I think so. I wasn't the one paying anyway lol :P

In australia, there's an extremely varied selection of food to engorge yourself with, there's italian, fast food, really cheap chinese(but really tasty), Greek, lots of kebab stalls, and many many more. if your wallet happens to be particularly fat at the time, try that gourmet italian or Japanese family-owned restaraunts and you'll never go to pastamania or sakae sushi again. If not, you could go to one of those pubs and grab a 7$ steak.

Oh, and the coffee is good.

Day 3

3Well, wouldn't you know it. The internet's bein a bitch today and keeps crashing whenever i try to upload pictures. guess there wont be pictures today then. Basically, I went with my family today to some cafe overlooking maroubra beach, and my my, the Big breakfast is really HUGE. It came with roma tomatoes, some scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, a damn long sausage and a pile of pan-fried mushrooms. Simply divine. Had a Hot chocolate with it, the creamiest i've ever tasted.

Then we went over to the city, and i noticed a few peculiar-looking license plates, especially one which said "DICKY". Then some woman got in the car and drove off in it. While cruising around, we saw a procession of korean people marching around in the middle of the road. "korean christian association" the banner said. Or something like that. Dunno what it was all about.
Then to the arts museum, it's changed quite a lot since my last visit a year ago, there's lots of surrealist pieces, just one look at one of them will fry your bran while you try to interpret it.Go google "surrealism" and "salvador dali" if you can't visualise what i'm talking about.

Next, to darling harbour. Nothing much of interest there, except a yellow box in the toilet which was meant for the "disposal of used syringes". the drug problem in australia must be really bad.
The final destination of the day was chinatown, it's not like part of australia at all, it's more like hong kong if you ask me, with lots of aussies walking around.
